How Do I Reverse a POS Item Purchased with "Bill Me Later" Payment Type?

To reverse a POS item that was purchased as 'Bill Me Later', you will search by 'Entered Date' rather than 'Effective Date'.  When you purchase an item as 'Bill Me Later,  Shape creates an Effective Date in the future when the payment is due.  To find the transaction to Return it, go to Reports -> Financial -> Financial Transactions.  Do a Custom Query.

1.  Remove the date from the 'Effective Date Field' and enter the appropriate date or range into the 'Entered Date Field'.  
2.  Enter the Transaction ID, if known or search by Member last name or card ID.
3.  Uncheck the 'Receivables Only' box and Search.

Use the 'Return' link to return the item.
