View Expenses and Apply Payment

Functions-> Expenses-> View Expenses

  1. To search for specific expenses, use the custom query tool; Otherwise the system defaults to [All Pending]
  2. Locate the expense you want to show payment for; using the expense ID field, payee, due date, etc.
  3. Under the Actions column, click [Make Payment]
  4. Change the Effective Date if necessary
  5. Enter the amount paid
  6. Select the appropriate payment method
  7. Add any notes to the expense payment if necessary
  8. Click [Apply Payment]

**NOTE: NO money is EVER moved with the Expense function in Shape; this function simply allows you to keep track of outside expenses.
